License Policy

This page explains what you get when you buy a TNC FlipBook 3D license, how Annual and Lifetime licenses differ, how site limits work, what happens at expiry or refund, and how to contact us if anything is unclear.

1. What a license actually buys you

A TNC FlipBook 3D license is a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to install and use the plugin on the number of production sites covered by your tier. The license is paid for by the site owner, applies for the duration documented on your tier, and includes access to updates and customer support during that duration.

The plugin code itself is licensed under the GNU General Public License v2 or later, in line with WordPress plugin licensing requirements. The GPL governs the source code; this policy governs the separate commercial services you are paying for: updates, support, license activation for premium features, and the right to identify yourself as a paying licensee.

2. License types: Annual vs Lifetime

You can pick the same site-limit tier as either an Annual or a Lifetime license. The functional difference is how long your access to updates and support stays active.

3. Site limits and activations

Each license tier covers a specific number of production sites. The number is displayed at checkout and on your account page. We use the WordPress home URL to identify a site.

The following do not count against your site limit:

• Local development environments on the same project (localhost, *.test, *.local, *.localhost, *.docker, *.ddev.site, *.lndo.site).
• Staging environments belonging to the same project, when the staging domain is clearly a subdomain or variant of your production domain (for example staging.yoursite.com or yoursite.staging.host.com).
• Auto-detected duplicates when you migrate or clone a site to a new domain. You can deactivate the old activation from your account and the slot returns to your pool immediately.

The following do count against your limit and require their own activation slot:

• Each distinct production domain you serve TNC FlipBook 3D from.
• Multi-site (WordPress Network) deployments where each network sub-site has its own home URL.

You can move an activation from one site to another at any time from your account dashboard by deactivating the old site and activating the new one. There is no penalty for moves, and we do not impose a minimum dwell time.

4. Updates and support

Updates

While your license is active, the plugin auto-updates through WordPress's standard plugin update flow. Updates ship for security patches, bug fixes, new features, addon compatibility, and ongoing compatibility with newer WordPress and PHP versions. We do not gate security updates behind a paid license: critical security patches are made available to all users of a recent version, with or without an active subscription.

Support

Support tickets opened from tncflipbook.com/create-support-ticket are answered within one business day during normal weeks, with longer queues during holidays and product launches. Support covers:

• Installation and activation issues.
• Bugs and unexpected behaviour in the plugin itself.
• Guidance on configuring the plugin for documented use cases.
• Compatibility questions with WordPress core, themes, and other plugins.

Support does not include custom development, theme customization, third-party plugin debugging unrelated to TNC FlipBook 3D, content production, or one-on-one training sessions. We do refer those to our recommended partners on request.

5. Expiry, renewal, and what happens if you let a license lapse

For Annual licenses

By default, Annual licenses auto-renew on the anniversary of your purchase at the same tier and the same rate. We notify you by email at 30 days, 14 days, and 3 days before renewal so the charge is not a surprise. You can cancel auto-renewal or change payment method anytime from your account dashboard.

If your Annual license expires without renewal:

• Existing FlipBooks remain readable. Books you have already published continue to display on the front end, so your visitors see no interruption.
• Some features may become unavailable in the admin a certain time after expiration. The plugin shows a clear in-admin notice explaining which features are affected and how to restore access. Which features are gated may evolve over time as the product changes; the live notice and the documentation always reflect the current state.
• Plugin updates stop arriving through the auto-update channel.
• Support requests fall to best-effort response time only.
• Addon purchases require purchase at non-renewal pricing, which is typically higher.
• Renewal restores everything immediately. The moment your renewal completes, any gated features unlock and updates resume. Renewing within 30 days of expiry restores your previous price; after 30 days, renewal is at current pricing.

For Lifetime licenses

Lifetime licenses do not expire and do not renew. As long as the product remains supported, your license key continues to deliver updates and support.

6. Refund policy

We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on every new purchase, no questions asked. If TNC FlipBook 3D does not fit your use case for any reason, contact us within 7 days of purchase and we will issue a full refund.

The guarantee applies to:

• The main TNC FlipBook 3D plugin (Annual or Lifetime).
• Individual addon purchases.
• The All-Access bundle (Annual or Lifetime).

The 7-day window starts at payment confirmation. To request a refund, reply to your purchase receipt email or open a ticket at tncflipbook.com/create-support-ticket. Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5 business days.

Renewals are not automatically eligible for the 7-day guarantee, because by the time a renewal charge hits, you have already used the product for a year. If a renewal charge surprises you, contact us within 7 days of the charge and we will work it out case by case. We do not hold customers to subscriptions they did not realize they had.

7. Transfers, agency use, and client sites

You can install TNC FlipBook 3D on sites you build for clients, provided each site you serve consumes one activation slot from your license tier. Two common patterns:

Agency builds the site, client owns the license

The client purchases the license under their own account and gives you access. You install and activate using their key. The license belongs to the client; if the project ends, they keep their license and you have no further obligations.

Agency owns the license, deploys to multiple client sites

The agency purchases a license tier covering enough sites for its current client roster. Each client site you serve activates one slot. If a client relationship ends and you uninstall the plugin from their site, you can deactivate that slot from your account dashboard and reuse it for the next client.

License keys themselves are not transferable in the sense of being resold or assigned to a different legal entity. If your business is being acquired or restructured, contact us and we will work out a license transfer in good faith.

8. The All-Access bundle

The All-Access bundle is a single license that grants you the main TNC FlipBook 3D plugin plus every current addon plus every future addon we release for as long as your license is active.

All-Access is available as Annual or Lifetime, on the same terms as a regular plugin license:

• Annual All-Access auto-renews yearly; expiry behaviour matches regular Annual licenses (plugin keeps working, updates and support stop, future addons are no longer included).
• Lifetime All-Access is a one-time purchase. Future addons we release continue to land in your account at no additional cost.

When we ship a new addon, All-Access holders receive a notification email and the addon becomes available for download in the account dashboard. No upgrade fee, no separate purchase.

9. What you may not do with the plugin

The commercial services that come with your license - access to plugin updates, customer support, addon downloads, license-key validation, and the right to identify yourself as a paying licensee - are separate from the source code itself and are subject to the following restrictions. By purchasing a license you agree not to:

• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the plugin or any addon as your own product, under a different name, or as part of a competing offering.
• Share, sell, transfer, or publish your license key in any form. License keys are issued to a single legal entity (you or your organization) and may not be used by, sold to, or shared with any party that is not part of that entity.
• Use a single license to cover more sites than your tier allows, including by rotating activations, using shell domains, proxying activations, or running multiple production sites under one slot.
• Mirror, mass-redistribute, or impersonate our update channel. The plugin's auto-update endpoint and license validation servers may only be used by authentic installations with valid keys.
• Use our trademarks - including the names "TNC FlipBook", "TNC FlipBook 3D", "ThemeNcode", and our logos - in any way that suggests endorsement, partnership, or that a derivative work is the official product.
• Remove, alter, or obscure copyright notices, license headers, "Powered by" attributions where required by the plugin's documentation, or licensing metadata in plugin headers.
• Circumvent or attempt to circumvent license validation, feature gating, content protection, watermarking, or any other technical measure built into the plugin.
• Use the plugin to host, deliver, or distribute content that is illegal in your jurisdiction, infringes third-party rights, or violates the terms of services you integrate with (such as ad networks, payment processors, or content providers).
• Abuse the support channel with bad-faith requests, automated submissions, or volume that materially burdens our team beyond reasonable use.

The plugin source code is distributed under the GNU General Public License v2 or later, as required for WordPress plugins. The GPL governs your rights with respect to the source. The restrictions above govern the commercial services, license key, trademarks, and update infrastructure, which are not granted under GPL and remain ThemeNcode LLC's property.

If you fork the plugin source for internal modification under GPL, the fork must be clearly identified as your own derivative work, must not use our trademarks or logos, and must not access our update channel or license validation servers. Internal forks must not present themselves as TNC FlipBook 3D in a way that could confuse customers, support staff, or the WordPress plugin ecosystem.

10. Termination

You can cancel an Annual license or stop using a Lifetime license at any time. Cancellation does not generate a refund outside of the 7-day money-back window in section 6.

After cancellation, the front-end of your sites continues to display already-published FlipBooks. Admin-side feature availability, updates, and support follow the expiry rules described in section 5: some features may become unavailable a certain time after the license lapses, and renewal restores them.

We reserve the right to terminate a license for material breach of this policy, in particular for license-key resale or for behaviour that creates undue burden on our support team in bad faith. Termination is rare; we will always reach out first to understand the situation and try to resolve it before pulling a license. If we terminate, we refund any unused portion of an Annual subscription pro-rata.

11. Warranty and liability

The plugin is provided "as is." We work hard to ship reliable software, run an accessibility audit (WCAG 2.1 AA) on every release, and respond quickly to bug reports. We do not, however, warrant that the plugin will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every theme and plugin combination in existence.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ThemeNcode LLC's liability for any claim related to the plugin or this license is limited to the amount you paid for the license in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, lost profits, or lost data.

You are responsible for maintaining backups of your WordPress site and FlipBook content.

12. Changes to this policy and governing law

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes (anything that meaningfully reduces what your license covers) take effect 30 days after we email registered license holders. Minor clarifications take effect immediately and the change is reflected by the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.

This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, where ThemeNcode LLC is registered. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts located in Sheridan County, Wyoming, unless we mutually agree to mediation or arbitration instead.
